放置 Students and advisors should approach placement in 西班牙语 as per the following guidelines when registering for 西班牙语 classes:
SPN 101: *no experience at all in 西班牙语 or one year of high school 西班牙语
SPN 102: **two years of high school 西班牙语
SPN 201: three years of high school 西班牙语
spn202: spn201或同等产品
*Note: if the student took 西班牙语 recently in high school and had a positive experience with it, 他们应该注册spn102.
**Note: If the student does not have a significant gap in their 西班牙语 studies, they should register for the advised courses. If the student has a one or two-year gap in their studies, they should register for a lower-level course. 例如, if the student took three years of 西班牙语 but stopped studying the language for whatever reason, they should register for 西班牙语 102.
